My work is an exploration of human emotions and experiences through movement. I’ve used visual art as an opportunity to capture the idea that everyone is in constant motion, both physically as well as emotionally. Each composition is a different way to capture a specific moment in someone’s life, preserving the several emotions that are often forgotten as time goes on. In my different pieces I chose to portray motion by blurring my subjects, creating a transparent texture that I often used to manipulate the image of movement. Through my work, I wanted to create an image that reflected an idea or feeling that many people could relate to, whether positive or negative. In using my art to capture the constant state of motion in life, I hope to preserve the important emotions that we often overlook.
