Youth Art Month is an annual nationwide art show. Started in 1961 by The Art & Creative Materials Institute, Inc. (ACMI), Youth Art Month serves multifaceted purposes. It acknowledges art education as integral to holistic learning, nurturing global citizens. By highlighting art education's role in cultivating divergent and critical thinking, it aims to expand and initiate art programs in educational institutions. Youth Art Month cultivates dedication to the arts among students, community entities, and individuals worldwide. It strengthens community and fosters enthusiasm for art through exhibitions, workshops, and innovative ventures and echoes the objectives of the National Art Education Association.
